Arches National Park - Day 1

This morning we tackled the 3 mile trail to Delicate Arch, 480' up the sliprock but worth the climb.  We didn't see sunrise but were on our way by 9am and back to the bottom in time for lunch.  The afternoon was spent on short trails to Double Windows, Turret, and Double Arches.  It was overcast by noon and in the mid 80s. The rain showed up about 4pm so we went to the grocery and the local quilt shop.
No it wasn't this steep!

Western rain is neat, you can see it coming.
