Kodachrome Basin State Park - Utah

This park has been on my radar for 30 years so today we finally made it there. Guess that qualifies as a bucket list item. The oddity here is the sandpipes which are supposedly rare and this site only has about 70. The park wasn't a disappointment and we were there in the morning to get more color and beat the heat.  Our first 1-1/2 highland hike, we were the only people on the hill. Shakespeare Arch and the pink and green basin walls weren't bad either.
